It’s been two years since the last edition of The British Academy Review, with restrictions turning our lives upside down, wreaking economic havoc and forcing people to sacrifice freedoms on a scale not seen for many years.

We were asked to design a new edition of the Review, which explores the societal impacts of COVID-19, how it’s altered our perception of trust, and how we can move forward to build a stronger, more resilient society.
